Coltan, Congo and the Continent of Africa - An Inclusive Approach
There is already strong advocacy for change in the conflict minerals in the DRC. While I agree with the urgency for change, I would like to propose that we open a dialogue about developing a sustainable, inclusive model that will benefit the Congolese people.
I have some initial thoughts about developing national competitive clusters around the conflict minerals, as well as a bottom-up model incorporating small, informal miners in DRC. You can check out the articles below.
